905 Elmwood Avenue is coming along nicely. The glass corner looks sharp. Taking a walk around the building is now a breath of fresh air.
For years this corner sat derelict, looking more like a junkyard than a gas station. These corners tend to dictate what happens nearby too. Once this building is complete, and the restaurant is open, it’s going to change the entire dynamic of this section of Elmwood. This has always been a lackluster corner. Moving forward, 905 Elmwood Avenue is going to be a major player on the street.
The four-story, 44,000 sf building will be a mixed-use complex, including residential, restaurant and retail space. There will be 1,500sf of retail space facing the Elmwood-Delavan corner. Local Boys Restaurant Group partners Billy Paladino, Henry Gorino, and Chuck Mauro will be taking the remaining 5000sf the building’s first floor, including a 1,200 sq.ft. indoor/outdoor dining space on the second floor. There will also be a sidewalk patio. The rest of the building will be dedicated for 21 apartments. The project will feature a concealed parking area in back.
Kideney Architects designed the project and Concept Construction is the general contractor.
