Located at the northwest corner of North and North Pearl Street, the former First Baptist Church was originally constructed in 1899. In 2011, Ellicott Development purchased this neoclassical structure. Since then, the building has been redeveloped into eleven residential units, offering a variety of one, two, and three bedroom layouts.
The grandeur of the impressive stained glass windows and tall decorative ceilings of the auditorium have been transformed into awe-inspiring apartment units, where bedrooms atop a second-story loft overlook an open living area. The majority of the ornate woodwork throughout the structure, including the alter area, has been restored and adds unique character to the apartment units. The new finishes in the residential units offer an exciting and updated contemporary design.
In addition to rich character, these new apartment units answer a growing need for exciting and distinctive new living spaces at affordable rates. 14 North is conveniently located near the Buffalo-Niagara Medical Campus and many cultural and entertainment destinations of downtown Buffalo.
