Jun 22 2017

When you think “Ellicottville, NY,” you most likely think about skiing, snowboarding, sledding, and all things winter. But did you know Ellicottville, NY is just as fun, if not more, in the summertime? Ellicottville has plenty to do all year round, and the summertime is no exception. If you’re looking for an excuse to check out all Ellicottville has to offer during the warmer months, start planning your Independence Day Weekend trip for the Ellicottville Summer Music Festival!

From July 1-2, 2017, Ellicottville will be hosting the Summer Music Festival at Holiday Valley’s Double Black Diamond Golf Course. This 2-day outdoor concert festival is the perfect event for all ages. On July 1st, the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra will be in attendance, performing their annual show which includes dance music and songs from your favorite movie soundtracks. The performance includes fireworks, and kids are encouraged to dress as pirates and princesses. For day two, Carl Dixon will open up for Grand Funk Railroad. This lineup will take you back a few years with classic hits from the ‘70s, enjoyable for any age.

While tickets can be purchased for $40, this family friendly music event is allowing children 12 and under entrance free of charge. Looking to book a hotel, as well? Check out the Wingate Ellicottville’s special Summer Music Festival Package. The package includes accommodations for an overnight stay, as well as 2 tickets for the festival!
