![]() Ellicott Development Company first invested in rental housing in Buffalo in 1991 with the purchase of the Commodore Apartments near Gates Circle, on the city's historic Delaware Avenue. Since that time we have concentrated our efforts in restoring and converting classic and timeworn urban buildings into charming modern living spaces. We have successfully assembled a diverse collection of attractive, market-rate apartments throughout various city neighborhoods, managing and maintaining over 200 in all. In this new millennium, we continue our efforts to restore and reuse dormant urban buildings in the downtown area. Our current project at 514 Main Street transforms the former L.L.Berger department store building, renamed The Belesario, into 30 loft-type living spaces available for rental today. Our contribution to the rental market in Buffalo allows us to emphasize and celebrate the authentic structural assets that grace our Downtown corridors and surrounding urban neighborhoods. Our interest in meeting the current demand for city living lies in unique and challenging renovation projects that offer a refined, modern reuse of a vintage urban building. Our projects target the mid to high-end rental market with a spacious, sophisticated product in a style that is modern & distinctly urban. |
